Our Vision of Worship

Worship happens when people of all ages gather to honor and encounter God through Jesus Christ, be transformed by His grace, and offer themselves in obedience and service.

MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES

We offer two worship services every Sunday.  The Lord's Supper is celebrated the 1st Sunday of every month.

8:00 a.m. Contemporary Service

The contemporary service is less formal than the traditional service. Typically, music at the contemporary service is presented by a Praise Band consisting of several vocalists, piano, keyboard, guitar and bass. Most of the songs used during the service were written within the last 30 years, and reflect the current trends in Christian music. Often there is a personal witness during the service to glorify God and edify the body. Intercessory prayer is offered by those who attend. Nursery care is available.

10:30 a.m. Traditional Service (broadcast live over radio station WZOE 1490 AM)

The Traditional Service follows a printed order of worship, generally led by the Pastors.  Music at this service is presented by the Adult Choir, accompanied by piano and pipe organ. Many of the songs used during the service were written during the reformation, and celebrate our rich Christian heritage. Special music is offered by the many gifted members of the congregation and community. Intercessory prayer is typically offered by the pastors. The sacrament of baptism and reception of new members is performed during this service. The live broadcast over WZOE necessitates a more ordered worship presentation. Nursery care is available.
